Beauregard Canal Hike

Just had to show this car. Wierdest car I've ever seen. It's a Fiat and has 3 front seats and 3 rear seats.

The canal was built by slaves to bring water to a plantation. It's about 18" wide.

Guadeloupe
While sailing south last fall we stopped in Guadeloupe on the west shore. Little beach town. It's French. I was trying to negotiate a beer when Cloude asked if I needed help. He is from Quebec, born in France. His fiance Nichol heard us talking English and ran over to join us. They are living there and she haden't spoken English for months. We all had a few beers, hung out and exchanged e-mails. Now, heading back north, Penny e-mailed Nichol and we arranged to meet for lunch in the marina at St. Francis. They had friends visiting from Canada, Ken & Pam. We all hit it off great. After lunch we asked them if they'd want to go sailing the next day.
Next day we all sailed over to Iles De La Petite Terre. After we got back Cloude asked if we wanted to come over to their chateau for dinner & spend the night. We greatfully accepted and had a great time. One of the highlights of our trip.

Looks like a pretty good time.

It is very nice to see your sailing adventures. I would like to follow in your footsteps some day. Congratulations to you and Penny, you look very happy. I was wondering who took the pictures under water? I am guessing the sea horse.
